Challenge: In Q4 2021, a quick service restaurant chain sought to partner with a strategic, locally-focused media company to drive total revenue from online orders and to efficiently drive new customers to visit their restaurants in person.

Solution: Nexstar Digital developed a video-first “sequential messaging” campaign, delivering pre-roll video ads only after users were exposed to the brand’s immersive OTT video ads. Nexstar Digital then worked with a location data solution to track in-store visits of first-time customers.

Results: From October to December 2021, Nexstar Digital’s strategic video-first campaign drove over 1300% ROAS from the QSR brand’s online orders, and cost per new customer visits was over 200% lower than benchmarks.
